On April 9, a representative from Franklin Marshall College came to Wanbang School to share with Wanbang student about their school.
Franklin & Marshall College offers students a hands-on education that emphasizes close relationships with faculty. With a 230-year history of academic excellence, the College unleashes the potential in students to help them achieve beyond what they themselves thought possible. Students flourish in a supportive community that treats them as an individual, and their successes continue long after F&M. The College is a national leader in launching students and alumni to opportunities where they make a difference in the community and the world.
  • Franklin & Marshall is known for its academic excellence. The hands-on approach to education emphasizes learning while doing. They blend traditional academic work with instructor-designed, out-of-class learning — in labs, in studios, on stages, in the community, in the field, and in countries around the world.
  • They offer a supportive community where students find "homes" in activities that help them flourish. Outside the classroom, there is no limit to student activities. In addition to 27 athletic teams, 18 club sports and 145 student-run clubs, our students frequently create new organizations that motivate their interests.
  • At F&M, you'll discover an individualized experience that encourages self-expression and unleashes potential. About 2/3 of F&M students do an independent study or conduct research under the guidance of a faculty member, and more than half of our students take part in one of our 200 study-abroad programs in 60 countries.
  • They are a national leader in launching students to top graduate schools, fellowship programs and careers in every field. In fact, within six months of graduating, 98 percent of the Class of 2016 was either employed or pursuing further education. We pledge to support our  students long after they graduate.
